A worldwide organization of doctors dedicated to the promotion, protection, and support of breastfeeding, the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine (ABM) approached Emergence in 2017 with a need to modernize their branding and communications to appeal to a new generation of physicians.

Emergence developed ABM’s positioning, branding, promotional materials, website, and messaging to resonate with its changing audience, while respecting the organization’s history.

_THE CHALLENGE

A respected global organization, ABM sought to build a new brand and develop a new message to connect with and inspire audiences in a new way.

Working with physicians from around the world, we sought to understand the unique position of breastfeeding medicine and its role in the medical and advocacy landscape.

 

_SEARCHING FOR THE SIGNAL

Expert. Progressive. Ethical. ABM’s identity needed to reach around the world and across medical disciplines.

We worked with ABM’s Board to craft a positioning statement that resonated and a brand that respected the organization’s history while moving it forward.

_EMERGENCE

Emergence built a new website and other collateral based on the new brand positioning, visual identity, and communications objectives.

Slide templates, business cards, and refreshed messaging helped ABM refine its story, engage key audiences, and inspire members.

_EVOLUTION

The site launched at the 2017 ABM Annual International Meeting. 

Our efforts equipped ABM with essential tools to overcome barriers, influence health policies, and change behaviors to build better foundations for lifetimes of health and wellbeing.
